The shareholders of our three high-performance tree nurseries form the operational core of nordic plant GmbH. Together, we offer a comprehensive range of products for greening projects of all kinds. In the centre of the Pinneberg region, one of the largest tree nursery areas in Europe, we cultivate plants for demand in Germany and Scandinavia on an area of approx. 150 hectares. More than 160 nurseries in the immediate vicinity allow us quick access to large quantities and a wide variety of plants, stately specimens and unusual varieties and growth forms. The short distances guarantee a short dwell time of the plants in the transport state and a maximum fresh delivery to the final location.

The plant assortment for Northern Europe
Plants that can withstand the site conditions in Scandinavia offer great and safe potential for use in gardening and landscaping throughout northern Europe.
This is why we are increasingly producing plants that are popular in Scandinavia due to their advantages and enrich the range for German gardening and landscaping with less well-known and unusual varieties. The proverbial robustness is not the only reason for the constantly increasing demand.
Knowing what grows where! Our many years of experience with the local conditions in Scandinavia and our knowledge of reliable and vital varieties are our specific strengths.

In the land of trees
Logistics meets production
Here, in the Pinneberger Baumschulland, several million plants are cultivated annually on a total cultivation area of around 3,500 hectares. The climate and the exceptionally good soil conditions offer ideal conditions for plant production.
The large nordic plant dispatch centre is conveniently located close to the A7 and A23 motorways. It is quick and easy to travel in any direction and directly to the ferry ports to Scandinavia. The proximity to Hamburg provides good access to loading capacities.
Short distances to and from Scandinavia
The ferry port of Kiel is barely 45 minutes away by car and Hamburg Airport is only 15 kilometres away. This makes a visit to nordic plant very easy! Whether you want to get to know us and our nurseries, get an overview of our varieties or choose the plants for your project yourself – we always look forward to your visit and meeting you in person.
